Key Stage 2 SATS Results 2016

In 2016, the new more challenging National Curriculum which was introduced in 2014, was assessed by using the new tests and interim frameworks for teacher assessment. Results are no longer reported as levels, but as a scaled score with the expected standard being a score of 100. Pupils at a higher standard would expect to have a scaled score of 110+.
At Stanborough Primary School, pupils in Year 6 achieved the following scores in 2016:

English Reading: 81% of pupils met the expected standard (compared to the national average of 66%). 19% of pupils achieved the higher standard.

English Grammar, spelling & punctuation: 87% of pupils met the expected standard (compared to the national average of 72%). 33% of pupils achieved the higher standard.

Maths: 73% of pupils met the expected standard (compared to the national average of 70%). 20% of pupils achieved the higher standard.

Reading, English GSaP and Maths combined: 71% of pupils met the expected standard across all 3 subjects (compared to the national average of 53%).
